In 2000, I retired from working as sales and marketing executive of Fujitsu Philippines. Since then, I made it my goal to set up my own business to support the family's financial needs. Together with my wife, our first taste of business was a KISS King Of Balls franchise, selling Kikiam and Squid balls on carts. Back then, our service crews came mostly from the urban poor areas. In the course of doing business, We have been exposed to poverty. We discovered that most of our service crews have embedded poverty mentality. Debt have become a way of life for them and they end up wallowing in debt with no solution in sight.
Today, I co-manage a Uno Overseas Placement, recruitment agency together with my friends. In this business, we see poverty before our very eyes. The good thing about this is, we have the privilege and the chance to be an agent to change the way the Overseas workers think! It is exciting to see them released and acquire a new mind-set, a prosperous mind-set. We were created to be prosperous!
I have a mission: to change the way people think about themselves. That they are not poor and that they were created to prosper! If I can do that through this blog, I have added value to our people. With the grace of God, I know I will.
